Haven't written in almost 6 months! These girls are crazy right now-non stop motion-singing, dancing, laughing, screaming, crying. We had a super summer with trips to zoos and to a Minnesota lake for a week. Girls got to play in lake and spend lots of time with cousins. Favorite part was the front yard of the cabin which was pure sand. They have really become best friends(and sometimes worst enemies). Most of the day is spent putting on new costumes and changing outfits. We have several dance/songs a day. Gretchen is now 4 and we had her first 'friends' b-day party. Lots of kids came to nana's house to exchange white elephant gifts and play dress-up and eat cake. Gretchen has a good friend at school named Maddy who follows her around everywhere.Last week Gretchen didn't want to go to school, but went anyway and afterward insisted that she 'didn't have any fun even if there was a smile on her face.' Fina is almost 2 and speaks in complete sentences already! She is a crazy talker, who recently went through a phase when she wanted to be called 'chicken' but now she prefers 'just Fina'. Well the precious few moments I had to type this are over as I can hear some stirrings in the bedroom. G will be down to snuggle with Eric and watch a kids show. Fina will be out soon asking to watch Kai Lan.
